About LGBTQ+ Music Education

Our mission is to inspire, educate, and empower underserved youth and adults through inclusive music programs that enable them to learn, create, and perform music. This music instruction enriches their lives and strengthens their communities.

Our vision is to create inclusive music programs that inspire students to learn both as individuals and in groups. In this nurturing environment, participants can experience peace, joy, courage, playfulness, and strength within themselves and their community through engaging music instruction.

We provide accessible instruction through our inclusive music programs for: 

Saxophone, Clarinet & Flute ~ all levels, ages 11 and up

Piano ~ beginning & intermediate level, ages 7 and up

Guitar, Ukulele, Bass & Drums ~ beginning level, ages 11 and up

Our lessons, classes, and workshops cater to a wide range of instruments and musical styles to: 

• Instill foundational techniques and teach skills that build confidence, foster creativity, and adopt a spirit of patience & endurance while learning. 

• Encourage music exploration of different genres, with a special focus on supporting LGBTQ+ youth music initiatives. 

• Create inclusive uplifting environments for people that celebrate diversity. 

• Cultivate opportunities for improvisation and new music creation, encouraging artists of all levels to share their unique voices. 

• Empower each music student to practice as a means to create peace, joy, courage, playfulness, and strength within themselves and their community. 

• Integrate mindfulness and proper breathing techniques to enhance both musical practice and overall well-being.
